Kirklees Council knows this is an incredibly difficult time for local businesses and we’re keen to showcase those that have adapted, fundamentally changed or refocussed their business models during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Over the next couple of months we’ll be running a marketing campaign:
- to celebrate business success
- promote lessons that could be transferred to other businesses/sectors of the economy
- look towards the economic recovery from the virus
I’m looking for businesses in Kirklees that have:
- adapted or fundamentally changed their business model to keep trading during the virus e.g. moving to an online model or providing a delivery service; see for example this Guardian piece –https://www.theguardian.com/money/2020/mar/28/work-businesses-small-firms-online-survive-coronavirus-crisis
- refocused their manufacturing activity to produce equipment or other goods required as part of the COVID 19 effort; for example see https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/holmfirth-gin-firm-halts-production-18025381
If you know of any currently, or hear of any businesses over the few months that meet this criteria please email business.enquiries@kirklees.gov.uk with the business name, contact details and a quick summary of how the business has adapted (or ask the business to get in touch if you don’t want to forward details).
Many thanks
Kirklees Business Team
