We’re thrilled to share that the local events calendar has been topped up with even more exciting activities, packed with a variety of fun and engaging activities for all ages.
Whether you’re looking for ways to entertain the family during the upcoming half-term autumn break, looking for bonfires, exercise activities or simply want to explore new events in the community, there’s something for everyone!
From outdoor adventures to creative workshops, our calendar is brimming with exciting opportunities to make the most of this season.
So far, we have 5 bonfire events listed on the calendar, many of which are hosted by local cricket and sports clubs. These events are often one of their main fundraisers, so your support is crucial to helping them continue their activities throughout the year.
Be sure to pre-book your tickets, and come along to enjoy the delicious food and drinks on offer.

Have you already heard of Eden’s Forest?
You may have seen them posting on social media, but would like to find out more. They are a Community Interest Company who provides a variety of woodland-based programmes with wellbeing and compassionate care at it’s heart.
They believe spending time in the great outdoors does you good in every way possible!
It is this ethos that is the bedrock of Eden’s Forest CIC. Using woodlands and countryside as their office, they help people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to develop new skills and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
Eden Forest CIC hold bespoke outdoor learning programmes on behalf of partner organisations. Projects range from
- Wellness, therapeutic and rehabilitation programmes
- corporate team building days and events,
- curriculum-based Forest Schools,
- Holiday Clubs with bushcraft activities,
- Birthdays and Hen Parties.
