Join us for a full day of foraging, feasting, and creating at Eden’s Forest on Sunday, 6th April, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
This immersive workshop will guide you through the woodlands, identifying edible spring plants while learning which to enjoy and which to avoid. Led by Andrea Burnand—a respected member of the Foragers Association with expertise in foraging, preserving, and wild plant medicine—you’ll gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience.
What to Expect:
🍃 Guided Foraging Walk – Discover and gather wild garlic and other seasonal edibles.
🥣 Lacto-Fermented Wild Garlic – Make your own jar to take home.
🥤 Wild Soda Creation – Learn to craft refreshing fermented drinks.
🍕 A Delicious Wild Lunch – Enjoy wild garlic treats, including scones, pesto, wood-fired pizzas, pickles, ferments, chutneys, and dessert.
🌱 Seasonal & Sustainable Skills – Perfect for food lovers, foragers, and those keen to connect with nature.
What to Bring:
Two small clean jars for your homemade ferments.
A reusable net or fabric bag for gathering plants.
A note book and pen handy, but not essential, recipes will be provided.
Andrea brings a wealth of experience in foraging, fermentation, and holistic therapies as a member of the Foragers Association, working across the UK. This is the first in a seasonal series of workshops at Eden’s Forest, celebrating nature’s abundance.
