The Skelmanthorpe Christmas Lights Switch On has become a popular and much-anticipated event in the HD8 calendar, and is always guaranteed to attract a crowd.
This year, Skelmanthorpe Community Centre and Band Room will be hosting a Christmas market, alongside the Switch On, for small businesses, groups and independent traders to show off their wares in a warm, welcoming environment.
Both venues will be offering refreshments and the Community Centre will also be hosting a Christmas Grotto, where children can collect a little festive treat, provided by the man in red…
