About

Gaelforce – winners of the introducing stage January 2023 by public vote at The Great British Folk Festival, Butlins, Skegness in front of an audience of approximately 2000 to 3000 people. Gaelforce are an award-winning Celtic folk-rock band playing a fusion of traditional folk and some rocked up jigs ‘n’ reels.

Supported by The Chorus Crew, who are based in Harrogate and have been singing together for about eight years. They sing a wide variety of folk songs including sea shanties and comic songs. Many of their songs have a chorus for the audience to join in. They pride themselves on their interaction with our audiences, giving information about the songs, encouraging a bit of banter and generally trying to make sure that the audience has a good time!

This is a fundraising event on behalf of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution who, in 2024, celebrate 200 years of saving lives at sea.

This event is unreserved seating, and doors open at 7.00pm. This venue has a bar available.
