We’re delighted to be once again supporting the Huddersfield Mission with a festive, in person, networking event. As well as being a fantastic opportunity to catch up and connect with people you may not have seen for a while, it’s also our opportunity to spread some festive joy by donating to people who really need it.
It started off as an idea a few years to do something a bit different in December. Area Leader, Merewyn Sayers, approached the Mission and asked how we could best support them. They gave us the surprising answer that they would like new underwear. They get a lot of other items of clothing donated but obviously, you cannot give people second-hand underwear. So we all turn up with packets of new pants in hand (preferably in size small, multipacks are great).
We want this year will be the best Pants event ever – and it would be lovely to see as many people as possible there. If you want to bring a guest, they don’t have to be an FSB member. You just have to want to support the Mission and want to meet some great small business owners.
It is free, just remember to bring your pants and maybe a small donation for the Mission’s work.
