Celebrate the association between brass bands and coal mining, with a summer series of musical performances.

Sun 23 June – Uppermill Brass Band
Uppermill Band, based in the heart of Saddleworth, was formed in March 1979. From small beginnings and with hard work and consistency over the past 45 years, Uppermill Band has progressed, achieving numerous successes on the contest stage, entertaining audiences through many public performances.
Sat 29 June – Sherwood Forest Brass Band
Sherwood Forest Brass Band, are a community brass band founded in 2000, they are a friendly band family with ages starting from 4yrs to 80yrs.
Sun 30 June – Grange Moor Brass Band
A village brass band founded in 1854 with a proud heritage, Grange Moor Brass Band are a non-contesting brass band based in West Yorkshire.
Sat 6 July – Grange Moor Youth Training Band
Grange Moor, boasts a large and successful Youth Training Band, which play an active role in keeping brass banding alive within the local community.
Sun 7 July – Huddersfield and Ripponden Brass Band
Huddersfield and Ripponden Brass Band are based in Golcar, Huddersfield and are part of the Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble Association which comprises of a youth and senior band.
Sun 14 July – Dodworth Colliery Brass Band
Dodworth Colliery Brass Band is celebrating 188 years of making music and supporting their local community in 2024, they are a friendly band that plays as a team.
Sat 20 July – Hade Edge Band
Hade Edge Band, situated in the village of Hade Edge on the tops above Holmfirth, has a history spanning over 115 years. The first section band not only perform the brass band classics, they also innovate with new and dynamic arrangements from a variety of composers.
