Ask for member support

As a member, we must understand that each member has their own unique goals and ways they’d like to engage with the HD8 Network.

Some are here to build an online presence, others are active in our Facebook Groups or across different social media channels, and many not yet know how to make the most of the HD8 Network.

To help everyone get the support they need, we encourage you to ask for what you’re looking for—your request may even inspire others to do the same. Don’t hesitate to lead by example!

Our WhatsApp community is a great space to connect, and our newly reinstated Meetups provide in-person opportunities as well.

Social media, of course, is an excellent way to show support for each other’s efforts.

We’re hosting a drop-in session on the morning of November 29, before the structured networking Meetup.

This session will cover social media basics like tagging, collaborating on posts, and sharing stories. We’ll also touch on more strategic approaches for those interested.

Claire Stow Travel Counsellor, a self-taught Instagram expert (it really helps when you have fabulous places to post about!) will be there to share her insights.

We invite you to bring your questions and experiences to help everyone engage more fully.

No need to book, but help estimating numbers for coffees and cakes etc would be welcomed!

Similarly, whilst this session is provided for free, however donations towards the costs of the refreshments and electricity and heating costs, would be warmly received!

We also offer Member Success Sessions which are one on one sessions to discuss the matters that will help you make better success of your membership. Whether it is optimising your listing, talking about news stories, social media or anything else you want to cover. Book your session here – these meetings are included in Silver and Gold membership and can be available on request for an additional cost.
