Now in its third year, Denby Dale Parish Council’s annual EcoFest event travels to Emley on Saturday 19 October.
The theme of this year’s event is biodiversity but there will be presentations and discussions on a variety of topics for anyone interested in environmental issues.
Stalls representing local environmental groups and eco-businesses will be there to give out information, promote their work and provide activities. There’s also the chance to do a bit of early Christmas shopping or stock up on some eco-friendly goodies!
The event and talks are free to attend, as are the tasty vegan refreshments being served throughout. There’s free transport for anyone that needs it, thanks to a bus service – provided by South Pennine Community Transport – that will be running throughout the day.
