The Huddersfield Giants Women In Business Lunch Event is a perfect time to come together, make some meaningful connections with other professional women, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.
March’s event is being held on International Women’s Day on the topic ‘Women in Sport’ and will include some amazing guest speakers. Focusing on their accomplishments through life, business and how they manage each day with some key take outs, hosted by our Giants Women in Business partner Natwest.
Our Guest Speakers;
Lucy Horsell, Founder of Bounce Bras;
“For adult women a good sports bra can change a gym session or a run, but for young girls it can foster habits that will stay with them for the rest of their lives”
Lucy created Bounce in 2022 to help young girls feel confident, comfortable and inspired to be active by tackling the sensitive but critical challenge of sports bras. Through her background in teen sportswear development, Lucy recognised how many girls were not wearing the correct bra for sport, leaving them feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable and unwilling to be involved. After seeing the lack of suitable product on the market, and realising there wasn’t anything out there designed for their specific needs, she developed her own bra, designed to grow with girls developing bodies and adjusted throughout the school day.
